Gwennie in SL

I meant to post for days now but of course, I am horrible at posting when I say I will.

So, when you get dumped you kind of always harbor this wish that you will be the first to be in a relationship again.  That one little, insignificant rub in the face of the person who dumped you saying, “Yeah, you dumped me, but look at me now, you’ve totally lost me and I don’t miss you at all, hahaha.”  (Come on, you know something like that is playing through your subconscious psyche.)

Of course, it hardly ever works out like that.  So You find yourself wondering all those stupid things that drive you crazy like does he use the same pet name for her as he did for you, what does she say and/or do  that makes her so much more desirable than you, is he sharing details with her earlier than he did with you, etc.  This usually happens sometime just when you thought you were finally getting over it all and doing well.  Sure, you knew it would happen that they would move on, but there’s still that slap in the face factor of it all.  The injustice of not only being dropped like a bad habit, but seeing someone replace you before you’ve even really had time to adjust to being single again.

I suppose most people would say it’s silly to be caught up on a relationship you had in SL after you’ve been an ex for as long as you were a gf.

Finally the post I was going to make about the outfit I threw together about a week ago now.  I call it ‘Lite Brite’ because of the two bright colors that practically glow in contrast to the black.

The nice thing is the skirt – it’s a Callie Cline tintable skirt, so it can be as versatile as you need it to be.  The top and bright bangles were freebies from Kungler’s and set the color scheme for the outfit.  Leg warmers are from FNKY & Cake and though not quite as bright as the shocking purple in the top and bracelet it is far enough away to be able to bring more purple into the outfit and not clash.
