He’s so hot right now… who doesn’t love it? I just adore Zach Condon’s voice and the fact that somebody besides Weird Al is incorporating the accordion into “popular” music. ;)

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah

OK, a 180 from Beirut and Zach Condon, mostly in that I am almost positive that I despise Alec Ounsworth’s voice, but it’s kind of like a trance effect. Once I get hooked on the beat and intro, his voice is horrifically mesmerizing.

    Beiruit is fantastic…I”ve been playing them since December..*pats self on back. Lots of similarities to my favorite… Devotchka. You have once again demonstrated your excellent musical taste!

    On another note…I beseech thee and all of your readers to check out Ezra Furman & the Harpoons…give the boys a chance and you won’t be disappointed!
